Tutorial for Unit 2: Telling a story with a presentation tool
Step 1: Playing Around
Go to the classes blog and mess around, play and manipulate the presentation tools given. Find other tools on the internet and play with those too.
Step 2: Discuss and Choose
Discuss in your group what tool you found most interesting and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of the tool. Listen and critique other tools. Pick the tool that you think is best for your story.
Step 3: 1st Draft for story
Begin putting your story into your presentation school.
Step 4: Peer Review
Show your presentation to the members of your group individually and let them critique your presentation to look for what you need to improve on.
Step 5: Revise your Presentation
Take the notes given to you from your group members and fix the aspects that need a change and fit it to the aspect in your presentation that worked well. But before you do that go through your presentation on your own and make your own notes on what you think about your presentation
Do your best to fit your presentation to the guidelines of Narrative Coherence, Communal Relevance, Authentic Voice, Proximity, Alignment, Contrast Repetition.
Step 6: Presentation
Present your presentation to the class and receive feedback.
Step 7: Submit
Post your presentation on your blog.
